A budget is a crucial financial tool from which any business—including veterinary practices—can benefit. But simply drafting a budget isn’t enough, says Veterinary Economics Editorial Advisory Board member Gary Glassman, CPA. A budget must be adhered to and monitored to be useful. And just as the economy itself is dynamic, so too, he adds, must be a budget—flexible and adaptable as the fiscal year unfolds.
