at Wolfe Animal Hospital in Jesup, Ga., says her practice has improved client relations, team appreciation efforts, and efficiency
with an Employee of the Month program.
When clients or coworkers catch a team member doing something great, they fill out a doggie-bone card. Each card counts as
a vote, and the staff recognizes the team member with the most votes each month. Lane says this program has improved front
vs. back team member relations. "If a secretary helps bathe a pet, a technician may vote for the secretary," Lane says. "Or
if a technician helps answer phones in the front office, that may earn a vote, too."
