When conducting therapeutic laser treatment on a veterinary patient that's been injured or undergone surgery, we use a neck pillow to keep the pet looking forward. This protects the animal from any ocular damage caused by looking at the laser beam. The pillows are inexpensive and come in different sizes and patterns. We keep them in a base cabinet in the veterinary hospital for easy access, but some clients even purchase their own pillows for pets that receive regular treatments.
