These findings suggest that while both owners are devoted to their pets, dog owners are more likely to switch brands based on price due to the fact that dogs are more expensive to maintain than cats. With the knowledge, brands should put extra effort into minimizing customer attrition among dog owners, and practices should place more attention on getting dog owners to comply with veterinary visits.
