Dr. Ernie Ward, owner of Seaside Animal Care in Calabash, N.C., and a Veterinary Economics Editorial Advisory Board member, is a world-renowned expert in animal health and fitness. He recently shared tips on Animal Planet’s Faithful Friends, a show that gives advice and hands-on demonstrations about a variety of pet health issues. Dr. Ward discussed the importance of exercise and recommended ways to keep dogs fit, even in small living spaces or on rainy days. He also reviews a variety of products aimed at keeping dogs healthy.
